====== eScoring with PC CADDIE://Online ======

Here you will find instructions on how to use eScoring with PC CADDIE. With the %%PC CADDIE://online%% eScoring we provide you with an extension in the %%PC CADDIE://online%% APP, with which players can record the results quickly, easily and conveniently online and transfer them to your local PC CADDIE.

The eScoring utilises the direct interface to the PC CADDIE system, which we have been using successfully for live scoring at major professional tournaments since 2006. This means that in a second step, eScoring can also be used to display scores live.


==== How does eScoring work in practice?====

Once eScoring has been activated in your local PC CADDIE and in your club area of the APP, an eScoring code is automatically generated for the customer when the scorecards are printed and printed on the scorecard. This code is the "virtual identification" of the player. We have deliberately organised this identification so flexibly that players without an association card or from abroad can also work with the system.

Players can then enter this code in the app two hours before their start time. Up to four people can be counted per mobile device - so theoretically you can also score an entire flight with one mobile device. After entering the eScoring code, all you have to do is decide whether the score should be officially counted and submitted for this player or whether this code should only be recorded for the counter. The score is then recorded via an intuitive interface. The app itself only requires internet access to assign players and transfer the results - all other functions also work without mobile data or in flight mode.

==== eScoring with RPR ====

If eScoring is installed for tournaments, it can also be activated for RPR rounds in the club. \\
The process is always started in the club. The checkbox for eScoring is ticked during RPR printing and then both the player's and the scorer's scorecard (even if the scorer only "counts") must at least be printed on the screen!
====What are the requirements for eScoring?====
The prerequisite for use is the online tournament module of the %%PC CADDIE://Online%% app and the internal interface/licensing in the PC CADDIE programme for "eScoring". Our sales department will be happy to provide you with the corresponding offer. 

 
====eScoring instructions ====
 
**-> %%PC CADDIE://online%% Open APP --> Select golf club --> Open "E-SCORING" menu item**

Add player" button and enter the player's code  
and "accept". You can count PLAYERS officially (with   
results) or note the score for checking purposes.

**With presentation of results:\\
** Tick "Results of this player should be submitted after the round." The player is marked with *.

**All players added?**\\
 Then start "Scoring". Enter results hole by hole. You can switch between players and holes.

**Entered all results?**\\
Then click "Compare results ...". In the general overview, individual hole results can still be  
be changed. To submit the results, enter the codes of the player and the counter and click "Submit results". No further changes are possible after this.

**No internet? **\\
A working internet connection is only required for "Add player" and "Transfer results". The results are saved temporarily during the round.
