===== Transfer of the data =====

The data directory of the old server (main computer) must be copied completely. **The database must not be accessed during the copying process.**.
All running Pcc instances must be terminated, including any Pcc services on the server. It is best to name the folder **\DATA** folder in the PC CADDIE share to ensure that the database is not accessed. Please note that the intranet login will be deleted at the request of the German Golf Association. 

In the following description we use the abbreviation ADS for the [[en:sonstigefunktion:advantagedatabaseserver]] . Please check now on the old server via macro ads whether an ADS server is installed.
