Annual update Switzerland 2021

We welcome you to the 2021 season with our new PC CADDIE annual update.

You have been able to download the official version of the PC CADDIE annual update since 18 January 2021.

With the new PC CADDIE version from 18.01.2021 you will receive the new window Intranet update 2021. This will automatically establish the connection for the new Golfbox intranet.

Confirm the following window with OK: The display in the window Intranet update 2021 window window on the right changes from open to completed.

Please note that it takes a little longer to upload all members to Golfbox. All members must be uploaded before you can initiate a badge order.

The course rating data for all courses must be reloaded - using the button Load new course (Please do NOT overwrite the old existing courses or delete the old courses).

The following window shows the seats that are available on the intranet. Please load each course individually and check the course data. The course data for 9 holes should only contain the corresponding holes (1-9 or 10-18) and only half the CR value of the course rating. It may be necessary to reload the course data at a later date. An 18-hole course has 5 holes available for loading: Hole 1-18, front 9 (as a 9-hole round), front 9 (as an 18-hole round), back 9 (as a 9-hole round), back 9 (as an 18-hole round).

An intranet check of golfers is only possible for Swiss golfers. As usual, use the button Intranet button in the person mask:

1. the personal data is sent to the intranet
2. the player ID
3. the player data is loaded from the intranet.

With Load player data from the intranet you will see the usual screen for synchronising persons:

The usual selection list, if the club is not known or only part of the name is known, is no longer displayed.

If you create a new member in PC CADDIE who was already a member of another golf club, we recommend the following sequence:

1. new creation of the person in PC CADDIE and intranet synchronisation

The information from the Swiss Golf Server regarding the handicap, date of birth and gender is stored in the person.

2. selection of the respective membership status - the person becomes a member.

3. the Swiss Golf Server ID for this member is assigned:

The handicap is 0.0. Under Details you will find the distinction between Pro and Amateur:

All members are automatically activated for the Swiss Golf Magazine. Changes of address are changed immediately. The additional information NOMAG for members who do not wish to receive the Swiss Golf Magazine is still active.

The badge order works as we are used to. You can find the menu item under People - Order passes.

The three buttons on the right 1 Output 2 Check 3 Order represent the order sequence.

With Output to start the order. Please select the first order in the following window:

The passes are only ordered for all members with full playing rights. Members with limited or no playing rights will not receive a pass. You will receive an error message for these members:

Under 2 Check you will receive the checklist. Please check the handicaps of your members.

With 3 Order the order for the badges is placed.

The order list is confirmed with the column OK+B column for OK - Confirmed; any error messages can be recognised by the ERROR:

As soon as the order has been triggered, you will find a corresponding CRM entry for this order in the CRM window of each member. You can use this CRM entry to check the status of the order.

To find out the order status, click on the card symbol:

As soon as the order process is completed, the status of the CRM entry for the members is set to completed and is ticked off in green.

Second members: Members whose handicap is held at another Swiss golf club can also receive a second card. The handicap of the home club is noted on this second card.

If you wish to cancel an order, click 3 Order and then List or delete previous orders.

The follow-up order of the passes is also made via Contacts Order passes:

1. Select the appropriate group of people
2. Select the persons marked with an asterisk
3. Output

In the following window, select the follow-up order in the following window:

With Check and Order you can complete the subsequent order for the ID cards as usual.

Until the end of 2020, we were used to the IIS (Intranet Information System), where we could check members' handicaps on golfsuisse, for example, or check the status of card orders. This platform will no longer be available from 2021.

As there are no longer any handicap classes with the introduction of the WHS, the course rating table should be reprinted.

Under Handicaps and Course Rating Table you will find the menu item.

In the handicap record sheet of each member you can access the handicap record sheet by pressing the button Intranet button to load the 8 WHS Initial Scores from Swiss Golf from 15.12.2020 into the record sheet.

With the help of the button WHS button opens the calculation for the handicap index. In accordance with the WHS regulations, 2 results are valid, which is why they appear in green:
