DGV player ID for members

From PC CADDIE version 2022a, the DGV player ID can be seen directly next to the HCPI field.
The HCPI field can no longer be edited, as the HCPI must be requested from the DGV association.

New member and DGV player ID

The following is important when creating a new member:

Only when these details are complete will a player ID be requested from the DGV and the member transferred to the DGV.

Ideally, the scoring record and the HCP history sheet should be accessible after the transfer of a new member to the DGV intranet, and the HCPI should be retrievable if the player already had an HCPI at a German club last year.

Change DGV player ID with information from the DGV

Only possible from licensing of PC CADDIE version 2022a (as of 15.4.22 no licensing so far)!

If, for example, the DGV regulations department informs you of a different DGV player ID for a member, which you should enter manually, the DGV server will always return the old (incorrect) ID after entering the ID without PC CADDIE version 2022a.
In this case, please contact our support team. We will then clarify the problem with the DGV for you.

Tournament conclusion

Details are now also transmitted to the DGV intranet with the results at the end of the tournament, e.g. how many holes were actually „played“ if automatic filling was used to calculate the GBE (weighted gross result). This occurs in the event of tournament cancellation, no return, etc.
This happens automatically and is merely information for you.

Provisional HCPI on result list

As soon as you have completed the HCPI-relevant tournament and the results have been transferred to the DGV intranet, you can print the results list with the provisional HCPI after waiting 5 minutes (the DGV server calculates the provisional HCPI during this time).
If you want to print too early, PC CADDIE will inform you of the remaining time.

As soon as the DGV Intranet has delivered the provisional HCPI, you can print:

If you print result notifications (after you have completed the HCPI-relevant completion), which would be necessary for a player with a foreign home club, for example, further details are also printed, e.g. „Holes Played“ - this player has played 18 holes, there was no tournament cancellation and also no no return, for example - you can see this on the printout under „Holes Played“:

You will also receive this layout when printing out a registered private circuit:

Tiger & Rabbit

For Tiger & Rabbit tournaments, the DGV has again created the possibility that only the Rabbits can be concluded HCPI-relevant.
Tigers are players who have an HCPI of 26.4 or better. The results of these players are transferred „not HCPI-relevant“ to the DGV Handicap History Sheet.
Players who start with an HCPI of 26.5 and higher are rated as HCPI-relevant.

Badge order

The HCPI are checked on the DGV intranet when the members are issued with their ID cards. The HCPIs supplied from the intranet are printed on the badges and there is no option to adjust them locally.
As a precaution, PC CADDIE therefore warns you for all members for whom no HCPI is supplied from the intranet. You can still order these badges, but you should be aware that there is no HCPI on the badge. In certain cases, this may be correct. Please check!

Adjust playing handicap manually

It can in exceptional cases be a good idea to only manually adjust a player's playing HCP for a tournament.
This is possible if you select the player in the player editor and open information via „i“.
Think carefully about whether this makes sense and check where the player then appears on the results list in the net class.
For foursomes competitions, it is also necessary to enter the playing HCP idetically for both players.

Enter foreign results and special rounds

The DGV already offers this option without the PC CADDIE licence. Open the DGV portal and then select the paths for your member handicaps directly in the portal.

The DGV offers a LINK in the DGV portal where these results can be entered from PC CADDIE version 2022a.
You can call up the link in PC CADDIE:

PC CADDIE will then inform you which standard browsers on your PC can be used to open the link. Ask your technician to set the default browser if the link can be opened with continue cannot be opened.

Result history only for RPR rounds

With the DGV specifications, only the display of RPR rounds is permitted for the display, in which the results history was previously to be found:

The tournaments played in your club will therefore no longer be displayed here for the player, nor will any entries that have changed the HCPI through intranet queries.

Data record changes for HCPI in CRM/DMS

Text follows

International interface

from Germany with Switzerland

The guest player query for players with a Swiss home club is working again.
However, it is currently the case that when the player is first created, the HCPI query only returns an answer if the date of birth has already been entered by you. The player must therefore be created with surname, first name, home club and date of birth.

from Germany with Austria

The guest player query works (here also only with entry of the date of birth).

Gender "diverse"

The gender „diverse“ is also transferred to the DGV for members. The number of golfers affected is currently being analysed.
Further functions such as own tees in the competition are currently not planned. In your personal data records, you can select whether a person should/would like to play „diverse“ from the ladies' or the men's tees. Of course, you could still use personal filters to set your own analyses or highlight an individual „diverse“ player with the special „AK“ prize.

DGV Association statistics

A new feature is that members with the gender „diverse“ are included in the statistics:

Registered Trademark

As of PC CADDIE version 2022a, the following names, for example, will be labelled with the trademark according to the DGV specifications:
