Update Germany Version 14.1

With PC CADDIE version 14.1 you also download the current DGV licence.
Many changes relating to the DGV specifications run in the background, e.g. the adjustments to the tournament files that are regularly transferred to the DGV. However, this does not change the day-to-day operation in many areas. Nevertheless, there are some new features that we will explain to you here:

MBE association statistics

Tournament lists and Pro

According to the DGV, Pro is only a profession. Therefore, Pro may no longer appear in the HCP field on any lists. Pro will therefore be in brackets after the name on tournament lists in future. An HCPI will appear in the HCPI field if the Pro also has an HCPI lead with the DGV.

In this case, Musterfrau Greta is a Proette without HCPI guidance.
Frieda is a proette with HCPI guidance.

Price settings

New window sorting

Here is a new sorting from the PC CADDIE development:

Blind Hole

There is a new selection in the tournament base settings Prizes for Blind Hole:

Example blind hole prizes

Round function tick

As of PC CADDIE version 14.1, this function also affects the price displays on the Internet, including the DGV.

Team scoring becomes team scoring

The DGV has changed other terms, e.g. the team ranking is now called the team ranking.

Inclusive tournaments

You could already set „inclusive“ in the tournament.
According to the DGV, additional flags will now be transmitted with the tournament rounds to make it easier for players with a disability, for example, to find tournaments on golf.de that they can play in. (Blind, wheelchair golfer, deaf, intellectually impaired, other)

You can either set general INCLUSIVE OR the details for whom the tournament should be available on golf.de.

Members, guests and home club

HCPI field is automatically emptied

When you create a new member or change the home club of a guest, the HCPI field is always cleared, as the HCPI must always be queried by the association (DGV Intranet). The DGV wants to prevent outdated HCPIs.

Add more clubs

According to the DGV, the „Print this club in lists“ tick may only be set if the club entered is your own.
In the example, the home club of this player is club number 7720, and 9001 is organising a tournament, e.g. with teams.

If you enter a club other than your own, this message appears and the tick cannot be saved:

Load course data from intranet

Course data additional colours

According to the DGV, you can now also rename the colours in the course data to „Magenta“, „Cyan“ and „Brown“.
Otherwise, it is still possible to rename the colours and the original colour name must be included, e.g. „Red“ can be renamed to „Dark red“.

Place data - new look

With version 14.1, PC CADDIE provides you with a clearly arranged window for the location data.

With the new look, you can now see the tees on the left and the details of the tees on the right.
The tick for Hcp distribution should only be set if you want to enter different Hcp distributions per tee!

Course data with hectometres

As an alternative to colours, course data with hectometers instead of colours can also be requested from the DGV.
In this case, the tees are displayed in GREY, as well as if the colour is renamed.

Copy tournament

Copying results is no longer permitted according to DGV specifications.
