Information on the new features of the 2020 season for the 2021 update

We have continued to improve PC CADDIE for your needs over the past year - here is the most important information (we will inform you about details of the annual update here: Annual update 2021)

• For our customers who also intensively manage companies with several contact persons in PC CADDIE, the automatic contact person selection for circular mails and serial letters has been improved

• In the new Business Edition, it is now possible to use PC CADDIE via a browser - for an optimised user experience, the design has been adapted to these special requirements.

• Since 2019, it has been possible to pay for services booked online directly at the time of booking. The fully automatic processing of such bookings in your local PC CADDIE has been further optimised!

• The first customers are making intensive use of our new and powerful ERP module, which enables PC CADDIE to provide you with even better support for quotation management and resource planning: With this module, you are able to design and track complete quotes directly from PC CADDIE.

• More and more customers are using PC CADDIE to manage their hotel operations. This has resulted in new requirements, which we are gradually implementing - in particular, overview lists of guests have been further improved.

• A great wish of many customers has now been realised: resources can be displayed crosswise in the timetable - this is particularly useful for customers who use PC CADDIE Timetable to plan their events.

• Due to the shortage of resources (often only 2 players per group possible) and the golfers hungry for sport after the lockdown, the corona restrictions caused very high loads in our online systems. Golf clubs had up to 70,000 bookings on 18 holes in 2020. To cope with this, the performance of the online interface was further improved by allowing several processes to be processed simultaneously.

• An important task for us was to support you with the challenges posed by the coronavirus regulations. This involved, for example, new options in the timetable rules for:
• Rules by calendar week
• Flexible registration limits configurable based on rules
• Help functions for adjusting VAT rates were added to make it easier for you to implement the corresponding help packages. And also important changes in the game operation: For example, 9-hole rounds have also become effective for class 1 handicaps.

• We have improved the cash register so that it is now even easier for members to pay their club bill via the cash register.

• As a result of the new security requirements for cash register systems, splitting has also been completely revised. The large amount of information may take some getting used to - but the advantage is that the splitting processes are now completely traceable. Please activate our new checkout look, especially in catering operations, so that the splitting processes are summarised in the normal views.
