In terminal server environments (e.g. Citrix), the installation of the Advantage Database Server from Sybase® is mandatory. The installation of the ADS can only be carried out with system administrator rights and should be performed by your network technician.

2. other important notes

If you install access to PC CADDIE via the web browser on a Windows 2008 to 2019 (additional software application), make sure that:

• the RDS or Terminal Services roles and the RDS Terminal Services licence role are not installed before you install the application
• Windows 10 Home Edition is not supported
• A maximum of 15 sessions are permitted on Windows Server 2016 (with RemoteApp Mode)
• Windows Server 2019 Essentials Edition does not support RemoteApp Mode
• When installing on W10 Pro systems, these should not also be used as a workstation for local users, as this can cause problems.
