Electronic scorecard (ESC)

Please activate the ESC on average up to 1 hour before the start of the tournament and not immediately upon publication, as the „ESC“ slot would then be occupied for other tournaments or RPRs.

Activate ESC

To activate the electronic scorecard, go to the golf.at button (1) in the tournament and click on
Electronic Score Card (ESC) (2)

Then tick the box „Activate the electronic score card for this tournament“. This information will be sent with the next transfer to the ÖGV.

ESC - Upload scorecard for players

Create the start list for your tournament as usual and transfer it to the ÖGV using the FTP Butler.
If you then print the scorecards (players and course are checked directly), the necessary information for the „electronic scorecard“ is automatically provided for transfer and transmitted to the ÖGV as soon as the FTP Butler is started.

Especially after further changes to the start list, it is important that the changes to the start list are also transferred to the ÖGV. After changes, it is not sufficient to print the scorecards again, but it is important that you actively re-upload the scorecards for all players. (1)

Information: The scorecards are always uploaded for all players. However, not all players have to use the electronic scorecard.

After the scorecards have been uploaded for all players, the respective result for the electronic scorecard can be entered under https://www.golf.at/mobile/ the respective result for the electronic scorecard can be entered using the golf.at login. In the mobile view, the usual „green button - book tee time“ becomes the „red button - start ESC“.

In the Handbook of the ÖGV you will find all the steps for your electronic scorecard.

Finalise ESC

You can enter the submitted scorecards into PC Caddie as usual. When all players have returned from the round, you can call up the remaining scores for all players.

Then tick the „Round closed“ box and confirm with OK. As soon as this step has been confirmed with OK, the red button „Start ESC“ is changed back to green „Book tee time“ and no more scores can be entered via the electronic scorecard. You can still edit scores locally if required.

The rest of the tournament will be analysed as usual.

ESC and PRP

Unfortunately, it is not possible to generate an electronic scorecard for RPR rounds via PC Caddie. This is possible via the golf.at portal.
